The Volga Region Centre of Aerospace Education (VRCAE) (PoTsAKO) invites students and teachers to take part in the summer aerospace School that is carried through within the programme "The development of aerospace education in Russia as a new direction of complementary education".

The organizers of the School are the Ministry of general and professional education of Russia, the Russia Youth Aerospace Society "Soyuz", the Administration of Nizhny Novgorod Region and PoTsAKO. The Programme of the School includes conferencing for the teachers of integrated scientific courses, experience exchange, formation and distribution of data bank of aerospace education. The leading scientists of Russia and other countries will deliver a course of lectures on the problems in radiophysics, radio astronomy and space-terrestrial physics for all participants of the School. The students will carry out their own calculated or experimental researches at the Radioastronomical Station "Zimenki" of the Radiophysical Research Institute (NIRFI) as well as optical observations at the Nizhny Novgorod Lobachevsky University (NNGU) and Nizhny Novgorod Pedagogical University (NGPU). The system of intellectual games that will take an important place in the programme of the School will develop the students' creativity. The discussion of the students' researches will take place at the end of the School. The best students will get diplomas and purses.

The School will take place from the 1st to the 20th of August 1998, in the summer camp of Nizhny Novgorod Academy of Natural Sciences that is situated 25 kilometers away from Nizhny Novgorod. All expenses for each person amount to 500$.
